PURPOSE:To eliminate a backlash by building a backlash adjuster into a loop- shaped drive system. CONSTITUTION:Spur gear 17 formed in a solid body with helical inner gear 17a is supported by gear box 31 through the intermediary of needle bearing 30. Spur gear 17 incorporating helical inner gear 17a is loosely jointed to gear shaft 18 in such manner that it is freely rotatable. Spline 18a is spirally provided on the shaft end portion of gear shaft 18 with screw 18b formed after the spline. Helical gear 32 is engaged with inner gear 17a and spline 18a and nut 33 is spirally attached to the screw 18b. After assembling a gear of the drive system, nut 33 is tightened and helical gear 32 is shifted toward the spur gear 17. Then gear shaft 18 and spur gear 17 are rotated so that the backlash of the entire feed drive system may be eliminated. |
