发明名称 IMPROVEMENT OF PRINTING DENSITY OF HEATTSENSITIVE RECORDING MATERIAL
摘要 PURPOSE:To improve printing density of a heat-sensitive recording material by a method wherein a specified heat-sensitive transfer layer is coated on one side of a support sheet of a specified thickness, and an image-receiving sheet having a specified transferred layer is mated with the coat surface and adhered to the latter under pressure. CONSTITUTION:A heat-sensitive transfer layer 2 containing a phenolic substance, a coloring substance, and a thermoplastic substance with m.p. of 40-150 deg.C is coated on one side of a support sheet 1 which is 5-40mu thick. An image-receiving sheet having a transferred layer 3 consisting of a water-soluble polyolefin and solid fatty acids and/or solid fatty acid amides is mated with the coat surface. After thermal printing is conducted from the side of the support sheet 1, the sheets are stripped from each other to transfer a thermally printed portion 5 onto the image-receiving sheet, and the latter is after-heated. The after-heating is conducted for whole of the image-receiving sheet at a temperature sufficiently high for thermal reaction between the phenolic substance and the color developing substance.
