PURPOSE:To avoid the unnecessary and abnormal interruption by detecting whether the logic unit part had the operation actually and whether the fault is the intermittent fault or not in case the fault is detected via in-line MD. CONSTITUTION:When the processor is put under the queuing state, the microprogram gives a test whether register 12 is 0 or not. And in case register 12 is not 0, the ''existence of interruption'' is decided to carry out the process. However, the branching is given to the diagnosis program in case no interruption occurs for a fixed time. Then the diagnosis program address stored previously in register 2 is set CS register 5, and thus the diagnosis is carried out in the order of units a-c at operation control part 9. Even in case the error is detected in the course of the diagnosis and the bit corresponding to log error unit register 18 and error unit register 19 each becomes 1, the same diagnosis is given again. And if no fault is detected, the bit corresponding to register 19 is reset to avoid occurrence of the abnormal interruption. |
