Exchanged zeolite of the faujasite type is produced by exchanging the sodium zeolite at super atmospheric pressures at temperatures below about 500 DEG F. with salt solutions in ratios of cations in excess of an equivalent of the cation per equivalent of the sodium in the zeolite.
