A combination cigarette suffocater and ashtray made up of two pieces. The ashtray, or ash retainer, is designed in a way to allow the suffocater (hereby referred to as the snuffer) to sit squarely and evenly in its midst. The cigarette is extinguished by depositing its lit ember into one of the cavities bored through the snuffer. Once all of the cavities are filled, simply lift the snuffer slightly higher than the length of the filters off the base. The extinguished cigarettes then drops through, rolling off the slant of the base into the lower-most part of the ashtray. The snuffer is then replaced to its original position. Its cigarette holders are structured in sharp angles, with openings no less than the width of a cigarette, to firmly hold its burning embers above previously entinguished cigarettes. This is the only omni-cut structure, to this inventor's knowledge, that impedes a burning cigarette from tipping over the exterior onto a probable ignitable surface. One can also structure the holders within the ash retainer, but this structure is more complex, and therefore more costly to manufacture.
