PURPOSE:To simplify the circuit structure by making it possible to select the ignition signal of each pickup in common by means of the output of a flip-flop circuit which is set and reset alternately by the ignition signal of each pickup used for No.1 No.2 cylinders. CONSTITUTION:When rotor 1 is driven by the engine and two alternating signals A1, A2 of an angle of phase difference theta are produced from pickups 3, 4 each time projections 1a, 1b face each other, comparators 5, 6 produce output B1, B2, including two pulses, with levels waveform-shaped, and of an angle of phase difference theta, during the time when the positive polarity signals of signals A1, A2 are produced. FF circuit 9 is set by output signal B1 and also it is set by output signal B2, and outputs D, E, whose phases are reversed from each other, are produced from its output terminal. These outputs D, E and B1, B2 are processed by OR gates 10-13, and ignition coils 19, 20 are operated at two ignition times of different phases corresponding to these outputs. |
