<p>PURPOSE:To prevent a needless reflection wave signal from being received, by determining properly the relation of the delay time in delay circuits which are provided between a transmitter, a directional coupler, an impedance matching equipment and an antenna respectively. CONSTITUTION:Delay circuits 6, 7 and 8 having delay times T1, T2 and T3 are provided between transmitter 1 and directional coupler 2, between directional coupler 2 and impedance matching equipment 3, and between impedance matching equipment 3 and antenna 5 respectively. The relation among delay times T1, T2 and T3, maximum sense distance/radio wave propagation speed T0, and pulse width delta for transmission pulses observed by the receiver is expressed by T0/2<=T1, T2 and T3 and delta/2<=(T3-T1)<=T2-(T0/2).</p> |
