发明名称 REGENERATION OF ACTIVE CARBON FOR DESULFURIZATION USE
摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To effect thermally efficient active carbon regeneration without a corrosive separation product being mixed into heating gas, by a method wherein a mixture of deactivated active carbon and inert gas is indirectly heated by heating gas and the separation product from active carbon is purged into inert gas. CONSTITUTION:Deactivated active carbon used in dry desulfurization process is supplied from an upper valve V1 into a storage zone 2 of a regenerator 1 and stored. The stored active carbon is supplied through a down pipes 6 into a mix zone 3 and mixed with an inert gas fed from a line 7. The mixed active carbon is lowered through a plurality of heat transfer pipes 8 vertically installed in a heating zone 4. Heating gas from a line 9 enters the zone 4 outside the heat trasfer pipes 8 from the lower inlet and goes upward. The heating gas indirectly heats the active carbon and inert gas in the pipes 8. This causes a separated product from the active carbon to be purged into inert gas while both are falling into a separation zone 5. The separated product and inert gas are separated from the active carbon and discharged from a line 10. Regenerated active carbon is recovered from a line 10. Regenerated active carbon is recovered from a lower valve V2.</p>
