PURPOSE:To dispense with duct pieces by providing a plurality of slots in the axial directions on the outer portion of a stator; coupling connecting bars in said slots; and fixing iron cores and the bars, with spaces for cooling ducts being provided. CONSTITUTION:Stator cores 1a are stacked to constitute a predetermined thickness, and a plurality of slots 12 which extend in the axial direction are provided on the outer portion. The required number of said cores 1a are arranged with the spaces for cooling ducts 5 being provided. Then, connecting bars 13 are coupled into the slots 12 on the outer portion, and the bars 13 and individual cores 1a are fixed, thereby the stator is formed. In this constitution, the duct pieces to keep the spaces for the cooling ducts 5 are dispensed with, and the arbitrary spaces for the ducts can be provided. |
