The invention concerns the arrangement for uncoiling a heat-treated telephone cord 22, wound in adjacent turns along a helix around a first frame 1 adapted to the helical shape and subsequent winding up of the unwound telephone cord 3 in turns along a helix with opposite helical direction around a second frame 6 which extends in transverse direction to the first frame 1, wherein there are drive elements for rotation of the first frame 1 about its longitudinal geometrical axis. An unwinding element 4 according to the invention is arranged to be moveable in translation along the first frame 1 during its rotation and is provided with an unwinding knife 7, which is forced in between the turn of the telephone cord 2 being unwound and the next turn, and with a control surface 8 so that, as a result of the rotating and the translatory motion, the telephone cord 2 is unwound from the first frame 1 and wound up on the second frame 6 which is displaced in lateral direction relative to the unwinding element 4. <IMAGE> |
