PURPOSE:To avoid occurrence of the disturbance caused on the ultrasonic transmission line by the ultrasonic wave transmitter/receiver as well as eliminate the zero point fluctuation for measurement, by tilting the probe against the object axis for measurement of the wind velocity or the current velocity. CONSTITUTION:The probe is formed into three sets of A, B and C; and the ultrasonic wave transmitter/receiver is provided against the probe. These ultrasonic wave transmitters/receivers are constituted to double the wave transmitting and receiving actions and then measure the ultrasonic wave transmission time in both the forward and backward directions in terms of the same route. The three sets of probes cross each other on the horizontal level and with a proper angle each and is also tilted to the vertical level with a proper angle. |
