<p>A colour transparency is prepared from a colour master with photo-electric particles of neutral density in a dispersion between two electrodes. One electrode (11) has a colour raster and the other electrode is plain. Selective exposure to colour images provides a pattern of particles under the colour raster, which is fixed thermally for projection. The process provides a rapid colour transparency with a high resolution, using a fine spacing raster. The dispersion is charged to move the particles under the raster prior to exposure. The process provides positive slides from positive masters. For positive slides from negative masters a filter layer is interposed between the transparent electrodes.</p> |
