<p>The multi-spindle drilling machine has two drill heads (1, 2) which operate on opposite sides of the central face plate (6). This face plate is mounted on a bush (7) fixed to the drill head (1). The spindles (3a) are driven through a gear train from an electric motor which also drives the central shaft (9). The central shaft is connected by a coupling to a shaft (11) which drives the spindles (3) through a similar gear train. The angular position of the drill head (2) can be adjusted by a worm drive (12) and each drill head is moved axially by a manually operated cam.</p>
