<p>PURPOSE:To transfer assembled parts without interfering with the work on a main line, by providing an assembled parts feeding mechanism which can be displaced from a set posture into a feeding posture, a receiving mechanism which can be displaced from a feeding posture into an assembly posture and a transfer truck. CONSTITUTION:When an automobile body 2 is conveyed as a work in the direction of an arrow along a main line by a hanger conveyor not shown in Fig., parts are conveyed from a parts assembly mechanism 3 for a front Mackpherson's assembly 15 or the like by an assembled parts transfer unit 4 and assembled on the body 2 by assembly mechanisms 5, 5'. The assembled parts transfer unit 4 comprises an assembled parts feeding mechanism A and a receiving mechanism B located on the right and left sides of the main line 1 facing to each other and a traverse mechanism C connected between the former mechanisms A, B. A truck D is movably supported on the traverse mechanism C. The mechanisms A, B have the same construction and parts support arms 9 which can swing freely.</p> |
