PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve processing using a detection result of an air pressure sensor.SOLUTION: According to one embodiment, a portable apparatus includes: an air pressure sensor for measuring a value of air pressure; a touch screen; and a controller which when the value of air pressure satisfies a condition, estimates that its own apparatus is soaked in water. The controller estimates whether the own apparatus soaked in water is taken out from water or not on the basis of a detection result of the touch screen. Since the portable apparatus utilizes the touch screen only when estimating whether the own apparatus is taken out from water or not, the portable apparatus can determine whether the own apparatus is soaked in water or not and whether the own apparatus is taken out from water or not while suppressing power consumption.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
