<p>The enclosure has flexible dielectric or non-dielectric membranes (2,3) comprising the walls of the enclosure, or completely covering the inside surface of each wall. The membranes are caused to vibrate permanently or intermittently, to prevent the coating powder adhering to them. Alternatively the membranes remain still during the actual coating process and are vibrated at the end of each coating cycle, to shake free any powder adhering to them. Pref. the enclosure comprises a frame (1) suooorting two parallel membranes defining the vertical sides. The top part (4,5) of each membrane is coupled to an agitator (6,7). The powder suspension is injected at one end of the enclosure along the longitudinal axis of the latter, which coincides with that of the object (9) being coated. The powder particles which do not adher to the object (9) droo due to gravity to the base (10) of the enclosure for recycling.</p> |
