<p>PURPOSE:To form a cap part continuously to nut part and improve the strength of the cap nut by cutting a round bar material to a blank of a short circular cylindrical shape, subsequently extrusion-molding the screw under-hole, hexagonal nut part and semispherical cap part and tapping screw. CONSTITUTION:In cutting process, a round bar material is cut to the specified length to form a blank material 1 of a short circular cylindrical shape. Next, in extruding process, the blank 1 is extruded to be formed to a hollow body 2 having a semispherical bottom part 3. Thence, the hollow body 2 is further extruded to finish the hollow part 4 to a screw under-hole 5 and its outside circumference is molded to a hexagonal shape to form a nut body 6 and form the bottom part 3 in continuation to the nut body 6 to a cap 7 of semispherical form. Thence, screw is tapped in the screw under-hole 5 by screw-tapping process to inscribe female screw 8, whereby the hexagonal cap nut is completed.</p> |
