The present invention relates to a manufacturing method of a polyether ether ketone (PEEK)-metal complex; and to an implant for in-vivo transplantation including a PEEK-metal complex manufactured thereby. More specifically, the present invention relates to a manufacturing method of a PEEK-metal complex having a metal embedded in PEEK; and to an implant for in-vivo transplantation including a PEEK-metal complex manufactured thereby, and the manufacturing method of a PEEK-metal complex comprises: a first step of mixing PEEK powder and metal powder by ball milling in a liquid medium to obtain a mixture; a second step of rapidly freezing the mixture at -80 to 0C; a third step of freeze-drying the rapidly frozen mixture at a temperature which is equal to or lower than the freezing point of the liquid medium to obtain mixed powder; and a fourth step of thermally compression-molding the mixed powder under conditions of a temperature range of 350-450 and a pressure of 10-500 MPa. The second step is performed during the first step, or is sequentially performed following the first step. According to the present invention, the PEEK-metal complex has a bioactive metal coupled to PEEK, thereby maintaining the excellent mechanical properties and chemical stability of PEEK and enhancing the low bioactivity of PEEK. Accordingly, the PEEK-metal complex can have bioaffinity. Therefore, the PEEK-metal complex in the present invention can be practically used for an implant for in-vivo transplantation, especially an implant for bone substitution. |
