Setting control for pivoted roof flap - has setting arm with slider ends in control slots

The setting control for a pivoted roof flap for a car has the front edge clipped into a hinge and with the rear edge on an adjustable strut (14) for adjusting the setting of the flap. The arm has two guide pins (18) to form a Tee piece at the end, with the pins guided in sprung slots (23) clipped to the underside of the panel. The slots are made from pressed metal strip and are designed to unclip the pins to remove the panels. The setting arm is controlled by a twist handgrip and allows simple manual control. The whole mechanism is low cost and secure.
