<p>An approach ladder, and standing area able to bear loads and laterally secured by handrails, with adjustment for height, are provided for a platform for installation and maintenance work. It is used esp. in wide galleries in underground mines. Two horizontally sited platforms (2,6) are interconnected via a double-scissors-type structure (15), with a notching-in device (16). The shanks (17-19) of these are rotatably mounted at one end (21) of one platform, and displaceably arranged at the opposite end (22) of the other one. The upper platform may have a standing area, and the lower one transversely displaceable stabilisers.</p> |
