PURPOSE:To obtain an image with no shift caused to the copying paper regardless of the position of the region to be copied, by securing the setting of the region to be copied while looking at the original surface to be copied and thus realizing the trimming while holding the original statically. CONSTITUTION:The original holding device 21 is installed in a free rotation way centering on the shaft 21' provided to the upper panel 13 of a copying machine. The surface to be copied of the original O opposes to the mirror 14 at the solid-line position and cannot be viewed by the operator, but the surface of the original O turns upward at the 2-dot chain line position and can be viewed by the operator through the transparent plate 22. Accordingly, easy trimming is possible. When a magnified copy is desired for the trimmed region O', the knobs 30U, 30D, 31L and 31R are shifted in correspondence to the region O'. Then the magnification copy button 32 is pushed, and then the desired copying paper selection button is selected and pushed. Thus the setting is over. In such way, both the trimming and the magnified copy of the region can be facilitated. |
