PURPOSE:To enable to print by positioning a center part of a semi-graphic character at a center line of a printing position of a standard letter, by repeating a scanning 3 times on the printing data covering one line. CONSTITUTION:In the first scanning on the printing data covering a line, only an upper portion of a dot pattern of a semi-graphic character 1 included in the printing data is selected for printing. A sheet is then fed by a pitch equivalent to a letter width for performing the second scanning on the same printing data, and only the center part of the dot pattern of the semi-graphic character is printed. The sheet is fed by a pitch equivalent to a distance between lines, and a third scanning is performed on the same printing data for printing only the lower part of the dot pattern. |
