<p>The heat-exchanger is for a fluid circuit utilising ground heat, and comprises an external tube (1) fitting in a borehole, and closed apart from a union for the fluid (9) at the top. Concentric inside this is an inner tube (2), whose top fluid union extends through the outer tube (8) in the upwards direction and forms a seal where it does so. At the bottom, the inner tube ends short of the bottom (6) of the outer one, which is shaped so as to deflect the fluid. At the end of the inner tube and between it and the outer one is a baffle body (4), with ports (5) in it at intervals.</p> |
