<p>An inner piece, sliding in an outer piece, has a breaker hook detachably fastened to it, on a telescoping excavating bar, (as fitted to a hydraulic excavator). The outer part (5) of the extension (4) has an inner part (6) displaceably mounted in it, and can be telescoped by means of one or more cables (9,11), and one or more deflecting rollers (10,12). The cable can be attached to the front of the outer part and rear of the inner part, and guided across a roller at the front of the outer part. The inner part is pref. lockable in its end positions. This requires no extra equipment for handling, and effective increases range and height of reach.</p> |
