<p>PURPOSE:To titled lightweight bushing having improved strength designed to cause the flooding of a glass stream scarcely, in which slightly curved and protruded parts are formed on the outer bottom peripheries of a plurality of small holes perforated on the bottom thereof. CONSTITUTION:A plurality of small holes 1 are provided on the bottom plate A of a bushing containing a molten glass, and slightly curved and protruded parts 2 having a height of 0.1-2mm., preferably 0.3-2mm., are provided on the outer bottom peripheries of the small holes 1. Thus, the resistance to bending of the bushing is increased, and the deformation in use at a high temperature is smaller than a tipless bushing to carry out the stable operation for a long time.</p> |
