PURPOSE:To prevent the occurrence of the clogging of a nozzle in a head by supplying a liquid which solubilizes ink dye to the tip of an ink head when starting or stopping ink jetting. CONSTITUTION:In a conduit 5 between an ink chamber 4 provided with a piezoelectric element 6 and a nozzle 3, pipes 27 and 28 to supply and receive a solubilizing liquid which solubilizes ink dye or other solidified matters are provided, and by supplying the solubilizing liquid to the neiborhood of the nozzle 3, the clogging of the nozzle 3 is prevented. As the solubilizing agent, N-methyl-2-pyrolidone, monoethanolamine, etc., can be used. |
