PURPOSE:To quantitatively evaluate a cracked condition of a painted film, by dipping the processed part of a painted metallic material and an opposite pole in the solution of an electrolyte and measuring an initial electric current generated by a galvanic action. CONSTITUTION:After the test piece 1 of painted metallic plate is bent and worked, the tip face and back face of the piece 1 are sealed with paraffin and then, the piece 1 is dipped in the electrolyte solution 5. Then, the piece 1 is connected with the reference electrode 8 and the platinum opposite electrode 6 and an initial electric current generating between the piece 1 and electrode 6, is measured by the ammeter 7. Thus, a an initial electric potential generating between the piece 1 and the electrode 8, is measured preliminarily by the voltmeter 9, so that painting workability of the painted metallic plate of every kinds is objectively and accurately measured by preliminarily measuring the initial potential of the metallic plate classified by kinds and the intial current per unit area. |
