PURPOSE:To improve the efficiency of removing a processing soln. by providing squeeze wipers in at least two stages to at least one of crossover parts between processing soln. vessels and between the final processing soln. vessel and a drying device. CONSTITUTION:Two-stage squeeze wiper devices each composed of squeeze wipers 2, 3 are provided to crossover part A between vessel 6 holding a color developer and vessel 7 holding a bleaching and fixing bath, crossover part B between vessel 7 and vessel 8 holding a washing bath, and crossover part C between vessel 8 and drying device 9. Beltlike material 1 which is conveyed in conveyance direction (b) is imagewise exposed, color developed in vessel 6, and conveyed to next vessel 7. At this time, most of the developer brought out of vessel 6 together with material 1 is scraped by wipers 2, 3 at crossover part A to reduce the amount of the developer brought into vessel 7. |
