PURPOSE:To intend an improvement of an image quality by placing a temperature sensor and a screen near a hot roll. CONSTITUTION:A temperature sensor 5 is provided so that a distance (d) between the top of the sensor and the surface 3 of a hot roll 1 is 0.2-2mm.. Placing a screen 31 in front of the sensor 5 (against the rotation direction of the hot roll 1) causes a more easy temperature control. A distance (e) between the top of the screen 31 and the surface 3 is made less than the distance (d) and <=0.3mm.. A distance D between the screen 31 and the sensor 5 is made within 5 times higher (h) of the screen 31.
