Continuous casting appts. includes a 1st rotary member(11) with a 1st surface(14) on which a casting groove(13) is formed, a 2nd rotary member(12) with a 2nd surface(16) in which a cooling region is defined, a molten metal pouring means positioned in a transferring station, and a transferring mechanism(22) for the 1st & 2nd rotary member. It is characterized that the appts. comprises a means(102) for supplying continuously coolant into at least one of the rotary members, a means (124) for discharging the coolant, & a means(64) for taking out the castings from the casting groove.
