PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a latch changeover device for a sub opening/closing body for vehicle that can be reduced in manufacturing cost while improving safety when the sub opening/closing body is opened.SOLUTION: A latch changeover device 1 includes a base plate 10, a base lever 20, a latch lever 30, a detection part, and an intermediate member 50 which is supported by the base plate 10 displaceably in contact with the detection part, and can be displaced between a transmission position where the detection part is at a non-detection position and a non-transmission position where the detection part is at a detection position. Between the intermediate member 50 and latch lever 30, a changeover part 57 is provided which displaces the latch lever 30 from a non-operation position to an operation position as the base lever 20 is displaced from an initial corresponding position to an opening corresponding position when the intermediate member 50 is at a transmission position, and does not displaces the latch lever 30 from the non-operation position to the operation position even when the base lever 20 is displaced from the initial corresponding position to the opening corresponding position when the intermediate member 50 is at a non-transmission position. |
