PURPOSE:To luster a laver sheet by irradiating the sheet with ultraviolet rays during drying. CONSTITUTION:A laver sheet formed on a continuous screen is introduced into the drying chamber 1. When the water-content of the sheet has reached to <=300%, the sheet is irradiated with ultraviolet rays of 300-400nm in wavelength by an ultra violet light source 4 at an intensity of 10-20W/cm<2>. |
