PURPOSE:To obtain an ink jet recorded picture having no color shading and no distortion by a method wherein ink having viscosity being regulated and two or more different colors are supplied and the resistance of the inner wall in a liquid chamber in response to each ink is substantially equalized. CONSTITUTION:A color ink jet recording device comprises a plurality of orifices 10 which are juxataposed on an ink discharge surface and discharge ink of two or more different colors, a common ink chamber 8 which is common to each of respective color inks and a head 1 provided with a plurality of liquid chambers connected to the common ink chamber 8 corresponding to the color of the ink discharged from said orfice 10. Ink is introduced into the common ink chamber 8 through a supply pipe 7 and supplied into each liquid chamber through supply holes 9 opened to a part of the common ink chamber 8 and supply holes 9' opened to a part of the liquid chamber. When a signal is given to a heater of the liquid chamber, ink is discharged from the orifices 10. |
