PURPOSE:To obtain a preparating apparatus for preparing stable ''itokonjak'' (noodles made from devil's-tongue) and ''shirataki'' (noodles made from devil's tongue starch) under stable operating conditions, by controlling the stream of hot water in a boiling apparatus according to the need with a vacuum means. CONSTITUTION:A material (A) is fed into a flowing tank (boat) 11 and sent to a boiling pipe 12 with hot water. The pressure of a vacuum tank 13 is reduced by a vacuum pump 14, and the amount and flow rate of hot water flowing into the boiling pipe 12 are controlled by the sucking force of the vacuum pump 14. The opening diameter of an automatic centering pinch valve 15 provided at an outlet opening 24 of the vacuum tank 13 is made constant by making the air pressure in the tank 13 constant. In case the water level is lifted, the opening diameter of the valve 15 is increased. ''Itokonjak'' (noodles made of devil's tongue) boiled in the vacuum tank 13 and passed through the valve 15 and hot water are drained out of an opening 16 and separated into the ''itokonjak'' (noodles made of devil's tongue) and the hot water. The hot water is then circulated by a pump 21 through the flowing tank (boat) 11. |
