A cassette for a recording arrangement containing writing elements 2 which can be controlled by measuring elements 1, which interact with a recording medium 4 that can be driven by a drive element, which is arranged to travel essentially transverse to the direction of movement of the writing element 2, is composed of a first and a second cuplike element 5, 6, which are hinged to each other by means of hinge elements 7 and can be locked in the assembled position.
