The invention relates to a herbicidal composition comprising at least one thiolcarbamate-type herbicide and at least one antidote compound of general formula (I> <IMAGE> [wherein R1 represents a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group having 1 to 4 carbon atoms or an alkenyl group having 2 to 5 carbon atoms; R2 represents a hydrogen or chlorine atom or a chloroalkyl group having 1 to 4 carbon atoms; R3 represents a chlorine atom or a chloroalkyl group having 1 to 4 carbon atoms; with the proviso that if both R2 and R3 represent chlorine atoms, R1 represents a hydrogen atom]. The invention further relates to a method of controlling weed pests and of protecting plant crops from injurious effects of thiolcarbamate- type herbicides. |
