PURPOSE:To press in and connect the rotor shaft accurately without bending and deforming it by forming at least one section with an outside diameter of a knurl smaller than an outside diameter of a knurl of a preceding section when penetrating the shaft. CONSTITUTION:A section L, to which the knurls are formed, of the rotor shaft 13 is shaped by a central smaller diameter section L1 and larger diameter sections L2, L3 at the both end sides in the axial direction. The knurls are formed to each section L1, L2 and L3 through rolling, etc. by means of a knurl die. Accordingly, the rotor shaft with knurls can accurately be pressed in and connected to a laminated rotor core assembled body with long length in the laminating direction without being bent and deformed. |
