The holder (2) comprises a support ring (20) into which the electric socket fitting (3) is inserted and an integral fixing element (21) for attaching the holder to the coupling (1). Pref. the holder (2) is formed from a spring steel wire bent around into an open loop to form the support ring (20) with its ends initially bent together before bending apart to define a rectangular loop, open at the opposite side. This can be clipped around the outside of the coupling bar (10). The latter pref. has a reception slot (210) into which the ends of the rectangular loop can fit. The socket holder is cheap to produce and is simply fitted in place.
