A dosing device for very small quantities of liquid has an output device (1) connected to a liquid reservoir (2) so as to regulate the quantity of liquid taken from it. It provides accurate dosing and is applicable to ink printers. The output device is the printing mechanism (1) of an ink printer consisting of several individually controllable nozzles connected to containers of different media. The nozzles are controlled by a processor (6) via an adjustable pulse generator. The parts of the output device near the point at which the liquid is ejected are kept at constant temp. The outlet apertures are formed in an interchangeable plate. The processor receives a signal output from a quantity measurement device (4) connected to the reservoir.
