The feeds for the ground threads in the looped fancy yarn face each other on both sides of the loops formed by the guide between them. Both ground threads are laid externally on the loops. The assembly is of a simple construction giving a fancy yarn with a crisp handle, given an increased twist to bond the looped effect yarn and the ground threads internally. The result gives an effect yarn for furnishing fabrics, household textiles and curtains, and the like.
