The invention relates to an excrement protection device for dogs, comprising an excrement receptacle and straps by which the excrement receptacle can be fastened on the dog. The invention resides in the fact that the excrement receptacle is preferably designed as a flat cushion made of a liquid-absorbing material and that the straps and the cushion are designed such that the cushion is held in front of the bladder orifice of the dog.
