PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively reduce influence of noise signal having different amplitudes to a differential signal, and eliminate the necessity of control line for transmitting a control signal.SOLUTION: A signal transmission device includes a signal transmission part, and a first and a second transmission paths. The signal transmission part transmits a first and a second transmission signals mutually having inverse phase. The first transmission signal is transmitted on the first transmission path, and the second transmission signal is transmitted on the second transmission path. A signal reception part converts the first transmission signal received from the first transmission path and the second transmission signal received from the second transmission path into a single phase output signal. Amplitude adjustment means, for making amplitudes of the first and the second transmission signals received at the signal reception part different, is provided in the signal transmission part and provided on at least either the first or the second transmission path. The signal reception part converts received first and second transmission signals according to an amplitude ratio of the first and the second transmission signals adjusted by the amplitude adjustment means. Amplitude of the first and the second transmission signals are made variable using a first and a second adjustment signals.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 10 |
