<p>PURPOSE:To prevent the leakage of water perfectly and prolong the life of a drainpipe by using loose flanges for connecting an iron drainpipe or a casing drainpipe with a main drainpipe. CONSTITUTION:Loose flanges, upper and lower, 15 and 16 are mounted on a drainpipe 9, and combined with a main drainpipe 11 by bolts 12 and nuts 14 via seat packings 13 and round rubbers 17. Consequently, since flanges are movable axially, circumferentially, and round a vertical direction to the axis, round rubbers 17 and seat packings 13 can be fastened pefectly for preventing the leakage of water completely. Besides, the shearing force given to both drainpipes by water temperature or the like can be absorbed by the transformation of round rubbers 17 for prolonging the life of these pipes.</p> |
