<p>Methods for producing pigment for use in sizing agents and filler agents for coating paper, cardboard and the like are disclosed. The method includes providing calcium sulphate dihydrate as-the pigment and beating the calcium sulphate dihydrate in the presence of a dispersing agent comprising a polysaccharide substituted with carboxyl groups, preferably carboxymethyl cellulose.</p> |
