PURPOSE:The titled lubricant reducing friction coefficient between a disk and a contacting needle, and preventing generation of electricity and reduction by life, which is primarily composed of a composition solid at room temp. and atmospheric pressure which consists of a polyoxyethylene alkyl ether. CONSTITUTION:0.01-0.2wt% polyoxyethylene alkyl ether of the formula (wherein R is 10C or higher alkyl; -(C2H4O)mH is polyoxyethylene is which m is 1-19) such as polyoxyethylene-added cetyl ether, solid at room temp. and atmospheric pressure is dissolved in a solvent such as trichlorotrifluoroethane. EFFECT:It is possible to reduce friction coefficient, to prevent variation of electrical characteristics due to friction and to prevent adsorption of any refuse or dust due to frictional electricity, by spraying the lubricant and forming a lubricating film on the surface of a contact-type reproducing disk. |
