<p>A fuel metering valve for fuel injection to an internal combustion engine, comprising a rotary valve piston movable in a valve cylinder and having a spiral groove cooperating with a number of spaced valve ports in the cylinder, each port of triangular cross-section. Fuel is admitted to one end of the spiral groove and delivered through the ports in the cylinder. Rotation of the piston progressively opens the ports simultaneously.</p> |
