PURPOSE:To draw a pipe in a rotary metallic flask efficiently and to prevent flattening of the pipe by gripping the pipe with a chucking device of a drawing carriage, drawing the same by moving the carriage, shifting the drawn pipe onto the rollers of receiving carriages and revolving the rollers. CONSTITUTION:When casting in a rotary metal flask 1 is finished, a drawing carriage 5 is moved toward the flask 1, and a pipe P is chucked with a chucking device 9. Next, the carriage 5 is moved in the direction spacing from the flask 1, whereby the pipe P is drawn from the flask 1. The drawn pipe P is supported on a pair of support rollers 16 of receiving carriages 11, 12 moved upward from the inside of a pit 18. The rollers 16 are driven by a motor 34, and revolve the pipe P around its axial center, thereby preventing the flattening of the pipe P. |
