PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to connect to a backbone network without requiring work by a user if a fault occurs in equipment such as an access facility.SOLUTION: A communication system comprises: a communication device in each user's house connected with a backbone network; a terminal device for communicating with the communication device in a user's house by radio; and a terminal management server connected with a backbone network. The terminal management server stores a communication device associated with a terminal device in advance and an alternative connection list associating another communication device with which the terminal device can communicate by radio with the terminal device, and performs control, if communication with a communication device is disrupted, to allow, as an alternative connection destination, another communication device with which a terminal device associated with the communication device in advance can communicate by radio to communicate with the terminal device by radio. The terminal device stores a communication device with which the terminal device can communicate by radio, and changes a radio communication connection destination to the stored communication device when it cannot communicate with the backbone network via the communication device associated with the terminal device in advance.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
