PURPOSE:A cold rolling oil with excellent lubricity capable of preventing adhesion of a steel plate during annealing, which is prepd. by the incorporation of a saturated or unsaturated fatty acid and a metal salt between a fatty acid and a specified metal in a cold rolling oil. CONSTITUTION:A saturated fatty acid and at least one metal salt between a fatty acid and a metal among Be, Na, Mg, Al, Ca, Mn, Fe, Cu, Zn, Ba and Bi are added to a cold rolling oil contg. as a base oil a mineral oil, an oil and fat, a synthesized ester, etc. It is pref. to add 0.01-10.0wt%, based on the base oil, above compd. with less than 0.01wt% above compd., it can not exhibit a sufficient effect for the prevention of adhesion, while undesirably, with more than 10wt%, it is insol. in or incompatible with the rolling oil, forming a precipitate. |
