PURPOSE:A dried food for instant cooking, prepared by steaming grains, or beans with steam or pressurized steam, and drying the steamed grains or beans, having improved properties of process, storage, transportation, etc., and capable of remarkably reducing the cooking time. CONSTITUTION:Grains or beans are steamed with steam or pressurized steam and then dried to give the aimed food. Preferably, rice grains or barley grains are polished or cleaned, dried and steamed or dried. Dried beans are reconstituted with water slightly and then steamed. |
